Two hundred printings authorized for distribution among surviving signers, government officials and departments, institutions of higher learning, etc...There were 201 copies produced (Stone retained copy for himself). John Quincy Adams signed the transmittal circular dated June 30, 1824. Engravings, two of four to be distributed to Governor of Rhode Island, each branch of state legislature and "university of the state" (C#0257 - Governor Correspondence, Vol. 23 #83)
