Boston December 16th 1782
I have the Honor of inclosing your Excellency a Resolution of the General Court passed at their last Sessions for the prevention of Provisions going out of this State for the purpose of supplying the Enemy. And it is the Wish of the Legislature of this Commonwealth that similar measures may be adopted by the State over which you preside for the like purposes
