Record of granted petitions submitted to the legislature primarily by prisoners confined to the county jails and state prison seeking liberation, redress from fines or sentences imposed.  Also contains submissions from individuals with prior convictions seeking restoration of political rights or those advocating for the relief of others.

This finding aid provides an alphabetical list by prisoner last name and includes the full name of the petitioner, crime, and date of the petition.
