Scope and Contents: Includes a report with 29 black and white 8x10 photographs created as part of “Heritage 76 Meeting House: A National Preservation Plan to Commemorate the Bicentennial proposals to the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission for the preservation of certain properties. This proposal was done in concert with the Rhode Island Bicentennial Commission. The images in the report are of the following properties: 1. South Freight Station of the Providence-Worcester Railroad Depot (Tefft, Thomas; 1847-1848) located in Providence, RI. 2. Woonsocket Opera House / Park Theater (Kent, Willard; 1886) located in Woonsocket, RI. 3. Newport Casino and Casino Theater (McKim, Mead & White; 1879-1881) located in Newport, RI.
